Adepts are best known for their mastery of their own bodies, and the training they undergo to achieve it. Mentalists are those adepts who instead focus as much if not more on honing something else: their minds. And in pursuing such practices they unlock potent psionic abilities that allow them to accomplish truly amazing things.
When you select this archetype at 3rd level your mental discipline allows you to psionically enhance your physical prowess. Any time an adept feature makes reference to your Wisdom modifier, you can instead use your Intelligence modifier. You can also use your Intelligence modifier in place of your Strength or Dexterity modifier when calculating your maneuver DC.
Lastly when you use the Flurry of Blows, Long Step, or Patient Defense abilities, you gain an additional benefit.
At 6th level you can spend one exertion point per attack to increase the range of your unarmed strikes to 30 feet. At 18th level this increases to 60 feet. You can also spend an exertion point to use the Disarm, Knockdown, and Shove basic maneuvers at the same range.
At 11th level when you use the Flurry of Blows, Long Step, or Patient Defense abilities you can spend an exertion point to gain an additional benefit.
At 17th level you are under the permanent effect of a Mind Blank spell which cannot be dispelled, though it is suppressed by an antimagic field. Your exertion pool also increases by an amount equal to your intelligence modifier.
