Whether through ancestry or devotion, some berserkers feel a connection to— and draw power from—the might of dragons. Their fury makes them ever more draconic as they grow in power. In some cases, this connection is quite literal; dragonborn berserkers find that training in the techniques of the dragonblooded can amplify their inborn draconic abilities. But such connections are by no means required. Some of these warriors acquire their abilities through a ritual involving drinking dragon’s blood (taken by force or given willingly) and still others have a more metaphysical connection to dragonkind. Whatever the origin, however, the powers of these berserkers are fearsome indeed.
Starting at 3rd level, when you are raging, your flesh takes on the thick, protective qualities of dragon scales. While you are raging, any damage you take except psychic damage is reduced by an amount equal to half your proficiency bonus.
Also beginning at 3rd level, you gain a Breath Weapon as a dragonborn of your level. If you already have a Breath Weapon, you may use it an additional time between rests. While you are raging, your Breath Weapon deals an additional die of damage, and you may choose freely between the line and cone variants.
At 6th level, while you are raging, your teeth elongate and strengthen into powerful fangs. You gain a melee bite attack that deals 1d4 + your Strength modifier piercing damage and 1d4 of the damage type done by your Breath Weapon. You are proficient with this attack, it has a reach of 5 feet, and you use Strength for its attack roll. When you take the Attack action, you may attack with this bite as a bonus action.
At 10th level, you take on some of the terrifying aspects of dragonkind. While you are raging, a hostile creature that begins its turn within 10 feet of you must make a Wisdom save against your maneuver DC or be rattled until it moves more than 10 feet away from you or you stop raging. A creature that fails the save by more than 5 is frightened in addition to rattled. A creature that fails the save by more than 10 also suffers a level of strife.
At 14th level, your rage causes you to sprout a massive set of dragon wings that can carry you aloft. While raging, you gain a fly speed equal to double your walking speed. If you become bloodied while flying, your wings are too damaged to keep you aloft, and you descend as though under the effects of the feather fall spell instead of flying. In addition, if you already possess the Draconian Wings heritage feature, you no longer suffer fatigue while using your wings. If you become bloodied while flying, your fly speed reduces to 30 feet instead of descending as noted above.
