In far off places, Elemental Lords were once served by specially crafted elemental warriors, wielding elemental magic and weapons with deadly efficiency. Whether or not you belong to that tradition, you have learned the skills of those ancient warriors. You prefer to not rely solely upon your elemental power, and weave your power and skill at arms together. Sometimes you will face enemies immune to your element, and sometimes you just prefer to be in the thick of combat. Swinging blade and elemental power together, you are adaptable in many situations.
At 3rd level, you learn to wield weapons as if they were an extension of your body. You gain proficiency in martial weapons, medium armor, and shields. Additionally, you can use a melee weapon as an arcane focus, and you can use your action to use Elemental Blast as a melee spell attack with your weapon.
At 3rd level, as a bonus action you can shape a weapon out of pure elemental energy. Choose a type of damage that your Elemental Blast can do. The weapon takes the form of any simple or martial melee weapon you are proficient with and has the normal properties of a weapon of its type, but instead of dealing its normal damage, it deals the damage of the elemental blast you selected.

Also at 3rd level, you learn to use combat maneuvers. You gain proficiency with 1 tradition, chosen from below as determined by your Elemental Affinity at 3rd level. You learn two maneuvers of your choice.
You use your maneuvers by spending exertion points, but you do not gain an exertion pool. Instead, you must spend your spell points. The Maneuvers Known column of Table: Myrmidon Maneuvers (below) shows when you learn more maneuvers from a tradition you are proficient with, while the Maneuver degree column shows the highest degree you can select maneuvers from at a given level.
Additionally, whenever you learn a new maneuver, you can choose one of the maneuvers you know and replace it with another maneuver of the same level from a tradition you are proficient with. The traditions for each element are as follows:
At 7th level you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
Additionally, whenever you use your action to attack with Elemental Blast or cast an elementalist spell, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action.
At 11th level, weapons you wield become suffused with elemental energy. Whenever you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, it takes an additional 1d8 points of damage. The damage type is chosen from among the damage types of your Elemental Blasts.
At 15th level, the ferocity of your elemental fury knows no bounds. If you are reduced to 0 hp, you can choose to remain at 1 hp and make an Elemental Blast attack as a reaction against the creature or object that reduced you to 0 hp if it is within range. Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again until you complete a short or a long rest.
