Not all sorcerers are born with powers. Some are born with wealth used to grant them what nature did not. Others, unfortunate as they might be, are given their powers through invasive and hazardous mystical experimentation by cruel wizards testing new techniques or investigating the nature of arcane power itself.

SORCERER LEVEL
SPELLS
1st
air wave, calculated retribution, command, phantasmal talons
The changes the experiments have made do not begin and end at spellcasting, unfortunately. At level 1 your flesh and bone become tougher, and occasionally scaled, providing a bonus to your armor class when you are unarmored. Choose from the following options:
Stone Eye: Your AC when not wearing armor is 12 + your Dexterity modifier.
Beastmantle: Your AC when not wearing armor is 14 + your Dexterity modifier (Maximum 2).
Shapeshifter: Your AC when not wearing armor is 12 + your Charisma modifier.
Also at 1st level you gain a special ability tied to the experiments that were pressed upon you. Your bonded power must be of the same line as your flesh and bone selection.
Baleful Gaze: As an action you may attempt to stun all creatures in a 15ft cone. Creatures in the area must make a Constitution save against your spell DC. On a failure they are stunned until the beginning of their next turn. You may use this ability once per short rest, or expend a sorcery point as a bonus action to recover use of it.
Beastmantle: You gain a Bite attack as a natural weapon which deals 1d6+Str piercing damage. When you cast a spell with a range of touch you may use your bite attack as part of the spellcasting action to deliver the spell. In addition you grow a long tail with a stinger. As a bonus action on your turn you may use your tail as a natural finesse weapon to attack. On a hit you deal 1d4 piercing damage and poison damage equal to your Constitution modifier.
Shapeshifter: You gain the ability to change your body significantly. As an action you may drastically alter your appearance, including height by up to a foot, weight by up to 50lbs, and heritage. If you attempt to mimic a specific creature you gain advantage on any performance or deception checks based on appearance. You may also choose to instead alter your body to gain a Climb or swim speed equal to your normal speed. Any change requires an action and lasts up to an hour, though you may choose to end the effect normally. You may use this ability once per short rest, or expend a sorcery point as a bonus action to recover use of it. T his ability does not trigger detect magic or similar effects.
At 6th level your power grows as your altered physiology adapts to the life you’ve led up to this point. You may choose one of the following abilities and are not bound by your flesh and bone selection.
Stone Eye: You may attempt to petrify a creature of your choosing within 60ft simply by meeting their gaze. As a bonus action on your turn you force the target to make a Constitution save against your spell save DC. On a failed save the target is Restrained or Petrified instead if they rolled a natural 1. At the end of their next turn restrained targets must make a second Constitution save, becoming Petrified on a failure. This petrification lasts for 1 minute and you may use it once per short rest, or expend two sorcery points as a bonus action to recover it.
In addition, if you possess the baleful gaze bonded power the effect does not end at the start of the creature’s next turn. Instead they must make Constitution saves at the beginning of their turn to end the effect, and it lasts a maximum of 3 turns.
Wings of the Beast: You grow a pair of broad, leathery, wings not unlike those of a bat or a dragon. You gain a f ly speed of 40ft. In addition, if you possess the beastmantle bonded power you may now make your tail attack as a ranged weapon attack. It has a range of 20/60 and flings poisoned spines. Your tail’s damage increases to 1d10 piercing damage plus Constitution modifier poison damage and any creature damaged becomes poisoned for 1 minute.
Transmogrifier: Once per short rest you may use your action to transform yourself into a tiny or smaller creature, or an animated object up to medium size as per the spell’s functions though you retain your mental attributes and can still perform S components for spellcasting purposes you cannot vocalize. You gain a number of temporary HP equal to the animated object’s HP. Once your temporary HP run out you revert to your normal form, though you can choose to end this effect at any time, otherwise it has no duration. Any objects you carry become a part of your new form and do not function. In addition, if you possess the shapeshifter bonded power you may use it a number of times per short rest equal to your proficiency bonus, but may still recover a use by expending a sorcery point as a bonus action.
At 14th level your power grows by leaps and bounds. You gain one of the following abilities based on your choice of f lesh and bone.
Bale Eye: Your bonded power grows significantly. You may now use your baleful gaze in a 30ft cone or a 15ft radius around yourself. In addition, creatures that roll a natural 1 on their saving throw against your bonded power become petrified for 1 minute.
King of Beasts: As an action you can throw your head back to unleash a terrifying roar that is audible up to 300ft away. All creatures within the area must make a Wisdom save against your spell save DC or become frightened for up to 1 minute. Affected creatures may make a Wisdom save at the end of each of their turns to end the effect, and any creature that has been affected by this ability becomes immune for 24 hours once they make a successful save. You may use this ability once per short rest, or spend a sorcery point as a bonus action to regain use of it. In addition, your bite attack now deals 2d8 acid damage on a successful hit.
Changeling: Your bonded power grows significantly. You may now use it to cast polymorph on yourself. When you do so, the spell has no components and does not require concentration.
At 18th level your transformation has finally reached its peak. You gain one of the following abilities based on what you chose for your twisted mutation.
Stonegaze: Your stone eye twisted mutation becomes a 60ft cone.
Chimeric: Your fly speed increases to 120ft and you gain a Wing Buffet attack as an action. All creatures in a 20ft cone must make a Strength save or take 4d8+Str bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone and pushed 15ft away from you. On a successful save they take half damage and are not knocked prone.
Mimic: You may use your transmogrifier twisted mutation to become an animated object up to huge size.
