Wishmasters are those warlocks who wield the unique magic of genies. Some are willing servants and agents of noble genies, others bargain and haggle with them, still others bind and trap genies in order to force them into service or draw upon them for power. All seek the ultimate prize, the secrets of wish magic.
At 1st level you can draw upon the magic of genies. Choose the type of genie you draw your power from and associated damage type: Div (bludgeoning), Djinn (lightning), Efreet (fire), or Marid (cold). You gain one of the following:
You learn the detect magic spell. At 3rd level you learn the alter self spell, at 5th level you learn the tongues spell, and at 9th level you learn the creation and conjure elemental spells, the latter of which can only summon elementals of the same element and the genie type you chose. These spells do not count against your maximum spells known.
You can use a bonus action to place a curse on a creature you can see within 30 feet. The curse lasts for 1 minute, and ends early if the target dies, you die, or you become incapacitated. The curse has the following effects:
At 6th level you can change the damage type of your eldritch blast to the damage type of the type of genie you chose. If you do so, it gains an additional effect.
At 10th level you gain some of the resiliency of your patron, based on the type of genie you chose.
At 14th level you have gained the ability to conjure a lesser wish or be granted one by your patron. As an action you can speak your desire and cast any spell of 6th level or lower with no components required, and it takes effect immediately regardless of its normal casting time. The selected spell is cast as if it were using a 6th level slot. Once you have done so you cannot do so again until you have finished 1d4+1 long rests. You also add wish to the list of warlock spells available for the Penultimate Arcanum invocation.
