One of the most traditional roles of a wizard in society is that of a court mage who advises a noble or monarch. The role is reasonably common to wizards in general, but some train for it specifically, choosing scholarly pursuits and magical capabilities that make them specialized for collecting and sharing information. Such advisors might have a public or clandestine role in the organization or society they serve. Even highly-visible advisors are known to influence events from the shadows on occasion.
When you choose this archetype at level 2, your education expands to matters of statecraft. You gain proficiency with the Culture, History, and Insight skills. You also learn the calculate and message cantrips, which do not count against your maximum number of cantrips known.

All divination spells count as wizard spells for you. Only other Advisor wizards can copy them into their spellbook, however. Divination rituals you cast also take half as long to cast and have their duration doubled.
