Communities of yuan-ti that establish themselves in desert climates quickly adapt to the harsh conditions and lack of resources, forming cooperative, resourceful, and close-knit societies. They tend to be welcoming of those of other heritages, provided they are willing to contribute to the thriving of the community.
Desert yuan-ti often feel a connection to various desertswelling fire creatures and will often form trading or even defensive alliances with such beings and their communities. Because of this, the fiery language of Ignan is commonly taught among desert yuan-ti communities.
